I loved staying in a very nice and clean room that was close to all attractions and main sights, making it easy for me to enjoy beautiful walks to Princes Street Gardens and the iconic Scott Monument just minutes from my door. after long days of exploring, the adjustable bed was great for relaxing and watching TV at night.

The food scene nearby is a winner! Tucked in the heart of Edinburgh, I dined at Lola's Sandwich Bar and Las Iguanas, both dishing out local flavors that made my taste buds dance. Plus, the cozy beds kept me snug after my culinary adventures.

I booked a queen room way ahead, only to get a basement setup that felt more like a hospital ward. To top it off, the checkout was a right kerfuffle with a grumpy staffer giving me grief for being a wee bit late.

The Premium Queen room features a space-efficient design with clever use of technology, including an adjustable bed and a modern aesthetic that feels fresh. The hotel’s vibe strikes a balance between quirky and functional, which can be appealing if you’re into that kind of scene.

The bathroom setup lacks privacy with an open concept, and poor ventilation made things feel stuffy. The shower had a leak, leading to puddles. A notable oversight was the absence of kettle facilities in the room, which forced a trek down the lift for hot drinks. The only window faced an unattractive inner patio, missing out on any of the area’s charm. Evenings were a letdown with the live music starting late and a mic that didn't work during the performance.

I had a great stay at Yotel in Edinburgh. The room design impressed me with its modern tech features. The bed provided wonderful comfort. A slight downside was the air conditioning, but it didn't overshadow the great location and cleanliness. I loved the vibrant atmosphere throughout the hotel.

It kept turning on randomly, disturbing my sleep multiple times. I raised this concern several times, but it wasn't resolved during my stay. the noise from the corridor could be bothersome at times. On top of this, I found some dust and dirt on the sheets. Free tea and coffee options were mentioned but not available during my stay. I'd say the hotel has great potential but needs work on maintenance and cleanliness.
